Connect your WhatsApp Business number
Connect your WhatsApp Business number via Whapi.cloud to send personalized messages and track delivery in real time.
Before you begin
- Standard plan or Enterprise plan required.
- A Whapi.cloud account (trial available at app.whapi.cloud).
- Your WhatsApp number must NOT be linked to WhatsApp Business API already.
Step 1
Create a Whapi Channel
1Go to app.whapi.cloud → Create Account
2Click "Create Channel" (Trial or Paid)
3Wait ~90 seconds for channel initialization
Step 2
Get Your Channel Token
1Open your channel → Settings → Token
2Copy the channel token (starts with "ch_...")

Connect in QubrixMail
1Go to Dashboard → Workspace Settings → WhatsApp
2Paste your Channel Token
3Click "Connect WhatsApp"
4QubrixMail auto-detects and displays your linked phone number
Step 4
Scan QR (if not yet connected in Whapi)
If your Whapi channel is new and not yet linked to a phone, you need to scan the QR code using your WhatsApp app.
1Go to app.whapi.cloud → your channel → QR Code tab
2Scan with WhatsApp app: Settings → Linked Devices → Link a Device
Step 5
Set up WhatsApp Webhook (Optional)
1Go to Dashboard → Docs → Webhook Setup → WhatsApp Webhook tab
2Copy the WhatsApp Webhook URL
3In app.whapi.cloud → your channel → Settings → Webhooks → Add the URL
4Enable events: messages, statuses
Setting up webhooks is highly recommended for tracking real-time delivery and read receipts.
Sending WhatsApp Messages
Once connected, you can start sending WhatsApp messages directly from QubrixMail:
- Go to any lead in your Lead Pipeline
- Click the WhatsApp icon/button (💬)
- AI drafts a personalized WhatsApp message
- Review, edit, and approve
- Message sends from your connected number
Troubleshooting
"Token invalid": Double-check you copied the full token from Whapi.cloud → Settings → Token.
"Phone number not detected": Your WhatsApp number may not be linked to the Whapi channel yet. Complete QR scan first.
"Message failed": Check your Whapi account has sufficient credits/balance. Trial channels have limited messages.
Important Notes
- You must have a Whapi.cloud subscription (not QubrixMail's). QubrixMail connects to your channel — it does not host WhatsApp itself.
- Each workspace can connect one WhatsApp number at a time.
- WhatsApp analytics (delivery + read receipts) require webhook setup (see Webhook Setup docs).
